‘It may not be the will of God for me to get married ‘ is the conclusion of many Christians who are still single especially when age is telling on them. I have good news for you if you are in this category. I believe that as a Christian you believe in the Bible as the word of God because I will use it to show you how much God Himself wishes the best for you. Let’s look at:
- PLAN OF GOD FOR HIS PEOPLE. In Genesis chapter 2 verse 18, ”And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him”. This reveals that being alone without a life partner is something not good in the sight of God and has not planned for anyone to remain single throughout life. If you think that it is the of God for you not to marry, know that it is not. Age is not a factor for God so you must not despair and give up. You have to believe in God and trust Him for His plan and promises for you. There is no need to fret. There is no need to be worried. God will not fail, He will not decline from His promise that you will not remain alone.
- PROMISE OF GOD TO HIS PEOPLE. In Genesis 2:18 as quoted above God said He will make a help meet for the man. That is a promise. God never fails to fulfill His promise. He is still in the business of making help meet for His people. He does exactly what He says He will do and nothing anywhere can hinder him and no one can stop Him. God can do what He had promised. Do you think God wants you to remain single? No. He will make and sends your life partner to you, at the appropriate time. Despite God’s promise and power to fulfill what He had said, why am I still single? This answer will a topic for the next or future write-up. So watch out
